About Hatchnight

Hatchnight is a free game where you grow mystery eggs in your pen by day and sneak into your neighbors' pens by night. It plays in any browser, installs like an app, and works on a TV with phones as controllers.

How it plays

• Hatch. Buy eggs with coins your beasts earn, wait for them to hatch, and fill your Beastdex: 60 beasts across five rarities.
• Share a Grove. Up to 40 players share a world with a day and night clock and weather that can mutate your eggs.
• Raid. At night, sneak past lanterns to take one beast from a neighbor. Defend with shields, traps and revenge raids.
• Trade and make friends. Fair trades, friend codes and preset chat that's safe for everyone.
• Play together on a TV. Open hatchnight.com/tv, scan the code with up to 4 phones, and raid as a team.

Our fair-play promise

Every egg shows its odds. We never sell eggs, beasts, timer skips or raid advantages, and nothing you can buy is random. Purchases are looks, extra plots and season passes.

Hatchnight is made by Media Yard LLC, an independent studio in New Jersey, USA. We're in a closed playtest now; join the waitlist to get an invite and a Founder's Egg.
