Hatchnight is for everyone, including kids. Raiding is part of the game; being mean isn't.

Do

• Raid, defend, trade and warm eggs. Taking a beast in a raid is fair play, and so is a revenge raid.
• Make fair trades. The fair-trade meter is there to help.
• Report and block anyone who makes the game worse for you.

Don't

• Cheat: no bots, scripts, modified clients, exploiting bugs, or using several players to farm one.
• Scam: no tricking people in trades, and no buying or selling game items, players or transfer codes for real money.
• Harass: no following someone around to target them, and no using names, chat or trades to bully.
• Share personal information, yours or anyone else's. Never ask other players for their age, address, school, photos or social media.
• Attack the game: no overloading servers, probing for security holes, or trying to get at other players' data. If you find a security problem, email support@hatchnight.com and we'll thank you.

Reporting

Tap a player's name, then Report or Block. Blocking stops them seeing your chat, trading with you, adding you as a friend and warming your eggs. Reports go to our team. For anything urgent, especially a child's safety, email support@hatchnight.com with "Safety" in the subject. If someone is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.

What we do

Depending on what happened we may warn a player, remove items gained unfairly, limit features like trading, or suspend or delete the player. We'll tell the player what we did and why, and they can ask us to review it by emailing support@hatchnight.com within 6 months.
